Virgin Media have warned music pirates that their internet service will be cut off unless they mend their ways.
The plan follows a deal with the world’s biggest music company, which will involve the launch of a monthly subscription service – likely to cost £10-£15 – offering unlimited music downloads.

Virgin Media has again landed itself in hot water with the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA), this over its claims of “unlimited” broadband downloads.
The ISP advertised its cable broadband service as having “unlimited downloads”, however one person complained that Virgin applies download caps during peak hours, which can reduce download speeds by as much as 75%.
