phone & broadband for business
Businesses may want to start budgeting for at least a £389 expenditure if they want the eagerly-awaited Apple iPad.
According to Geeky Gadgets, a British technology website, that will be the price for the 16GB model, while the 32GB and 64GB versions will cost £439 and £489 respectively.
The website also reports that the device, which will appeal to business mobile users, is likely to be released in April rather than this month, as previously reported.
Writing for Geeky Gadgets, Roland Hutchinson said: "We are pretty sure from the information our source provided us with that these will be the prices when the Apple iPad goes on sale in the UK."
It is not yet known exactly how it will be rolled out in the UK or whether there will be a partnership with any networks for 3G usage.
What is clear, however, is that users will want a strong broadband connection to take full advantage of the Wi-Fi capabilities.
The business potential of the iPad is particularly enhanced by the fact that the iWork office suite will be available for it as well as the possibility of showing PowerPoint presentations on it.
