XLN Telecom Ranked 29th in 2007 Sunday Star Times Tech Track Awards
Tech Track 100 ranks Britain's fastest-growing private tech companies based on sales growth over the latest two years. XLN Telecom ranked No. 29 in the seventh annual Tech Track 100 league table published in The Sunday Times on 30 September 2007.
“XLN Telecom specialises in providing telecoms services to businesses with fewer than five staff. Businesses with fewer than five staff are often overlooked by telecoms service providers, but XLN Telecom specialises in this sector. The London company repackages fixed-line and broadband access offerings from providers such as BT, and it claims it can save customers up to 40% on their phone bills. Founded by Christian Nellemann and Anthony Karibian with funds from friends and family, the company received a further £1.6m from Drake Management in 2004 in return for a 15% stake. Growing customer numbers helped sales climb 124% a year from £4m in 2004 to £20.2m in 2006. Last year, Ofcom found the firm guilty of mis-selling, but the regulator is satisfied that XLN has now rectified these problems.”
